Rycote RY033702 Softie Lyre Mount with Pistol Grip Handle supports shotgun microphones from 19-25 mm in diameter.

The Softie Lyre Mount uses the patented Lyre system to provide complete isolation against handling and cable-borne noises. The Softie Lyre Mount can be supplied either with a lightweight Pistol-grip handle, bracket or CCA (camcorder clamp adaptor). Together this system provides a quick, simple, robust and cost effective shock-mount for the tough environment of modern day ENG and location recording.

This universal shock-mount has a soft-feel grip moulded into the clip which securely holds the microphone, preventing any slipping or twisting. The Lyres are extremely robust, and virtually unbreakable, as they do not use elastic or rubber components that are prone to wear and tear.

Both Pistol-grip and CCA have an added element of versatility as they have a 3/8' thread fitting for use with a boom pole. The CCA has a head diameter of 27 mm which allows it to fit into most Sony & Canon camcorder microphone clamps.
