Boasting sequential read and write speeds up to 560 and 520 MB/s, this drive also delivers sustained read and write speeds up to 540 and 520 MB/s, respectively. Furthermore, the AV PRO MK3 sports a 6-GB/s SATA III interface, delivering an access time of approximately 0.1 ms. However, performance isn't the only thing the AV PRO MK3 is packing; in addition to ECC memory, this drive sports a Mean Time Before Failure, or MTBF, of two million hours. Furthermore, drive endurance measures up to 4800 terabytes written, and stored data can be retained for up to 10 years at 77°F.

Intended to survive the demands of professional use, the AV PRO MK3 boasts shock and vibration resistance, as well as a temperature-proof design. Additionally, this drive is protected from X-rays and magnetic interference, and features ESD and overload protections.
