Important Notes:
- At this time the Fairlight panels can only be configured on the windows platform!
In order to function, Fairlight panels require the customer to have installed / purchase to following;
- DaVinci Resolve Studio software - (Link: Click Here)
- (Optional) PCIe Fairlight Audio accelerator card - (Link: Click Here)
- (Optional) PCIe Fairlight Audio MADI Upgrade [a PCIe card that adds 3 more MADI in and 3 more MADI out] - (Link: Click Here)
- (Optional **) Fairlight Audio Interface - (Link: Click Here)
Suggested Windows system components (approx 3-4k)
- Intel i9 9900K (or alternatively an X-series CPU with at least 10 cores)
- at least 64Gb RAM (memory)
- A motherboard to suit above with at least 3 (16x speed) PCIe slots
Graphics card, we would suggest the following (dependant on your budget):
- nVidia 2080 Ti 11GB = $2200 approx.
- nVidia 1080 Ti 11GB = $1000 approx (getting harder to get).
- nVidia 2080 8GB = $1200 approx.
A couple of caveats:
- For very complex 4K / 8K Resolve projects your customers may bring in-house you may need to flatten the project (or) consider even more powerful Graphic solutions like the Titan cards etc. What we have suggested above should suit though!
- Naturally, hard disk storage that is fast enough for the projects you may be working on will be required.
