KUMO CP2 is a 2RU control panel that can be used in standalone or networked configurations suitable for all KUMO routers including the KUMO 6464. Connecting via Ethernet to the same network as KUMO routers, KUMO CP2 enables full control from any location without the need for a computer. Up to four KUMO routers can be controlled from a single control panel. Supports ganged dual and quad port routing, allowing users to group together multiple inputs and outputs for Dual Link, 4K and Ultra HD workflows. In addition to HD and SD, every KUMO can route 2 or 4 grouped 3G-SDI connections, supporting uncompressed or RAW 4K and UltraHD signals.

Push-Button Interface
The KUMO CP2 features 80 buttons and enables selection of up to 64 sources and 64 destinations on each of up to four KUMO routers in standalone mode or through a built-in GUI accessible from any web browser on the network.
Multi-Router Configuration
Utilizing its Ethernet network connection, the KUMO CP2 can communicate with up to four KUMO routers anywhere on the network. This allows you to locate control panels wherever they are needed for optimal accessibility.
Simple Installation and Configuration
For standalone configurations with KUMO CP2, all KUMO routers can be connected together directly using standard RJ45 cables or through a network switch, if required. KUMO software will automatically detect and assign routers to control panel delegations so your routing system is ready for use immediately.

In a network environment, the built-in web UI provides all the setup controls to create exactly the configuration you require.
Custom Button Labels
Customize the KUMO CP2's buttons exactly to your needs. Use text labels and colored inserts to identify various sources, destinations and routers for quick and easy operation. To get you started, you can download a free lens chip template from the AJA website which can be color-printed and cut to create an insert for each button.

Light-gauge paper or film will be illuminated by the button for easy identification even in dark machine rooms or edit suites.

Cost effective, without compromising power or flexibility, KUMO compact SDI routers provide powerful signal control and support full broadcast specifications over 3G-SDI, with quality that exceeds SMPTE specifications. The super compact 1RU, 2RU and 4RU sizes are just a few inches deep, making them a perfect fit for any broadcast, production, or post production environment.

Running embedded Linux®, KUMO routers are network ready and support full HTTP control and monitoring. KUMO’s internal web server allows immediate installation, configuration, and operation with standard web browsers - so there’s no need to purchase or install any additional software. The new optional 2RU networkable control panel (KUMO CP2) can control all KUMOs, including the KUMO 6464, in stand-alone or networked configurations enabling comprehensive control without the need of a computer.

KUMO routers are easily integrated with existing infrastructure utilizing the REST API, the industry standard Grass Valley Native Protocol over RS-422 or even Ethernet. Ethernet network connectivity allows you to control KUMO routers from any web browser on a network connected device, ensuring you have the control you need.

As 4K workflows continue to gain ground, KUMO routers can grow as you do. With a simple setting change, KUMO routers can be configured for ganged dual and quad port routing, allowing users to group together multiple inputs and outputs for Dual Link, 4K and UltraHD workflows. This allows seamless routing of uncompressed or Raw 4K and UltraHD signals throughout a production or post facility. Then switch the router back to HD/SD operation as needed, giving you the flexibility to route virtually any format in your facility. KUMO SDI routers are available in four configurations: KUMO 1604 supporting 16 3G-SDI inputs and four 3G-SDI outputs, KUMO 1616 supports 16 3G-SDI inputs and outputs, KUMO 3232 supports 32 3G-SDI inputs and outputs, and KUMO 6464 supports 64 3G-SDI inputs and outputs.

KUMO compact SDI routers offer AJA reliability, flexibility and uncompromising signal quality, all at an unprecedented price. Built to the exacting standards of all AJA hardware, KUMO products are backed by our world class support network, five year international warranty and advanced exchange service.
